10Alert Facts: Outside the usual hyperbole after an initial alert sometimes you can find hard facts.

For example:

CYLO
10Day Alert 830kvs500_shares-volume 10dayavg
April 30th http://www.profitspi.com/stock/view.aspx?v=price-and-chart&p=6650&i=CYLO&pv=recent-symbols&pp=CYLO#&&vs=634723256015598716

You could even go 20 or 50 days and still an extreme volume change. That's fact number 1 = extreme 1-day volume over either a short or extended period on a dormant symbol.

Fact number 2
If you were watching the tape you'd see an open of .001 with a low of .0005
If you were watching with both L2 & Last Sale Screens combined, you would have witnessed a very unusual drop [Market Makers Shuffling Stock] thus witnessing a unique pattern. A pattern that usually plays out in pretty much the same order. This is what I consider a Market Maker_Shuffle or MM_Shuffle.

Not concrete facts but logical:
* If you know it's a dormant play right after you spot said symbol while watching this event.
* If you read back historically and see 5k shares can change the price but 830k did not.
* If you know it's an iHub fresh symbol thus few if any bagholders
Then it's very logical too think even though there was a drop, all trades were buys!

Using Ameritrade during these events the 1st trade on your L2 shows a 'red' signal or 'red-light' just on the right of the price within your L2 window.
As Market Makers continue too drop and shuffle shares around bid/ask the red light continues.
Soon, whether it's at the bottom of where they want it or right above the bottom in this case .0005 the 'red' signal or 'red' light you're viewing while reading your L2 screen starts too indicate 'green', 'green light'.

The 1st trade on April 30th called by RULiquid went off at 2pm at 245k at .0005, then the 2nd trade and only other trade I see as of now was 585k back too .001
A/D for the day dropped too 830k with both going off as sells.

*** One large point is during this event and even after 830,000 shares the PPS did not change. This is one of the true features of the 10Day Alert when spotted.

The point is I've always believed these alerts are worth holding for a long time, not giving up one share to go off and trade somewhere else if it doesn't move. On average these types of alerts can range from a few days too 4 to 6 weeks, and yes even more. Back a few years someone bought a 10day alert only too wait about 5 months and it ran I believe about a 20 bagger or so.

But what usually happens is someone gets impatient on a no volume day, Market Makers go ahead and sell a very small amount of shares dropping it to .0005 and a number of investors bail.

These types of alerts require patience and lots of it. These types of alerts IMO are a $50 dollar throw down and let it ride.

It's also been my belief that there's a link somewhere between the dormant symbol and paper trail leading too an event none of us are privy too. Thus someone out of the blue buys a few [could be MM's too] and let's it ride until said event.

These extreme volume alerts on dormant plays need no hype, there's enough hard facts along with logical reasoning too believe IF>>>>>> you are patient enough, there will be a reward.

As always when a trading strategy there are many events that take place too include chart/chatter/volume-alerts.

Just an old guy creating havoc wink

I'm still holding about 30 Alerts over an extended period....

Something also too keep in mind when you DD an event like this is.... Does the company name when spotted reflect something out of the usual, i.e. very interesting business model/IP behind it? Or, is it a holding company? A good number of dormant symbols that come up have intellectual property value behind them setting in the attic as it were... waiting too be rescued. Always check dormant symbols for uniqueness. Then ask yourself why would this one come up?

sc
ps... the really big point I want too make here is that IF>>>> you buy into these alerts? HOLD THEM!!!! Thus why would you purchase more than a few bucks worth?
